Light A Light lighting ceremony, Kilbryde Hospice shop, Monday 5th December 2011

The Tree of Remembrance lighting ceremony on 5 December in The Kilbryde Hospice Shop, East Kilbride Shopping Centre was a fitting culmination to our inaugural Light A Light campaign. The poignant ceremony conducted by Dennis Gallagher, Chairman of Kilbryde Hospice and Dr Nagy Iskander, co-founder of the JAM Trust was a fitting way to remember those that we miss, those we have loved, and those who will need our care in the future. Gretta McGuinness, Kilbryde Hospice Board Member and widow of The Kilbryde Hospice Appeal founder, Tony McGuiness switched on the lights (which will remain lit until 31 December). Sadly, severe weather conditions prevented the Senoir Choir of Hamilton College from joining us this year.
