RESPONSIBLE TO: Stuart Glen, Fundraising Manager or Donna Hegarty, Business Development Manager
JOB PURPOSE: To generate funds to support the work of the charity by maximising donations from can collections.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To coordinate the distribution and return of collection cans.
Main tasks include:
- Identify potential sites for the display of collection cans
- Negotiate approval for the placement of collection cans
- Maintain ongoing relationship with the display premises
- Ensure all cans are correctly labelled, seals and secured as necessary.

LOCATION: East Kilbride Town Centre
RESPONSIBLE TO: Leanne Henderson, Retail Manager, or in absence Assistant Manager
JOB PURPOSE: To generate funds to support the work of the charity by maximising shop profit. This is to be achieved by best practice merchandising; excellent customer care; sales floor maintainance; ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures, including Health & Safety.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position is flexible, depending on the availability of the individual, with positions available for a minimum of four hours between Monday to Saturday, 9 – 6, or Sunday 11 - 5.
Support is required to assist with the following range of tasks:
- Cash handling and till operation
- Provide customer service which exceeds the customers’ expectations and create a welcoming shopping environment.
- Sales floor maintenance and cleaning.
- Replenishing, pricing, preparing and sorting of stock.
- Merchandise displays of goods to achieve maximum turnover.
- Ensure donations and deliveries from the retail centre are organised to maximise sales and minimise any risks to Health and Safety.

LOCATION: 4 Bell Drive, Hamilton International Retail Park, High Blantyre
RESPONSIBLE TO: Responsible to: Donna Hegarty, Business Development Manager or in absence Fundraising Manager.
JOB PURPOSE: To support the work of the charity by assisting with office administration functions, including answering the phone and taking messages, data input, mail duties, reception tasks, contributing to the preparation and organisation of events and other fundraising activities.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position is flexible, depending on the availability of the individual, with positions available for a minimum of four hours between Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
Administrative support is required to assist with the following range of tasks:
- Answer calls to the Hospice fundraising office and deal with them effectively
- Log incoming mail and prepare mailouts
- Organise information and update databases to assist with communications about the work of the Hospice
- Contact local businesses, schools and other relevant organisations to engage them in Hospice activities.

This is to be achieved by ensuring the safe transport of all sizes of goods to and from our retail stores; Providing excellent customer service both in shops and homes; Rotation of stock within shops; ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures, including Health & Safety.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position is flexible, depending on the availability of the individual, with positions available for a minimum of four hours between Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm.
Support is required to assist with the following range of tasks:
- Minimise store costs to maximise store profitability by arranging collections and deliveries in a logistical manner keeping fuel use to a minimum
- Cash handling for delivery charges and vehicle expenses
- Ensure the safe transport of all sizes of goods to and from our retail stores
- Assist with the merchandise displays of goods to achieve maximum turnover, including the rotation of stock within stores
- Ensure donations and deliveries to and from the retail centre are organised to maximise sales and minimise any risks to Health and Safety.
