SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 6 & 7 SEPTEMBER 2008
The Maggie Miller children’s liturgy group of St Anthony’s Parish, Rutherglen runs the 3k Great Scottish Run.
A magnificent fundraising effort...
The children ran in memory of Maggie Miller, Ray McEnroe and Granny Mary along with the old crocks from the parish (pictured below) and raised a magnificent £1000 with more to come.

Kilbryde Hospice Director Gordon McHugh whose sister Maggie Miller recently died of Inflammatory Breast cancer was delighted with their input. He said “it was a great day for the kids and they were really excited about the run which was a bit more than us old crocks who suffered dearly on the 10k”.
The McHugh family would be delighted for more Kilbryde Hospice supporters to join them on the 3k or 10k next year.
