Pick up a bargain item, maybe even a designer one, at the Kilbryde Hospice shop in East Kilbride Shopping Centre on Saturday 14th May when the charity holds a promotional day to update on progress towards the building of the hospice in East Kilbride.

With the main activities happening between 1pm and 3pm, the promotional day will be hosted by Clyde 1’s Suzie McGuire and will include a catwalk fashion show, raffles and the opportunity to pick up many special items, including lingerie donated by leading Scottish business woman Michelle Mone who is also supporting the event.

The day will also be a recruitment drive for more volunteers to assist the hospice in achieving its goal of providing a Hospice for the people of South Lanarkshire and beyond.  Volunteer opportunities include assisting at our Day Hospice within the Red Deer Centre, in one of our hospice shops or as part of our fundraising team, including our weekly Tuesday stall within Hairmyres Hospital.

Susan Haughey, a director at Kilbryde Hospice commented, ‘I am delighted that so many people have supported the hospice over the years.  Now that we are moving towards starting the actual build of the new hospice, that support is required more than ever.  I hope our promotional day provides the opportunity for the public to get an update on where we are with the build, look at how they can get involved going forward, and pick up a bargain at the same time.’
